Why this exists
Installers and consultants kept asking us for the same thing: a way to offer their clients live monitoring and automation without becoming a software company. Every off-the-shelf IoT platform we looked at expected the installer to build their own dashboards, device security, and multi-client structure from scratch.
So we built MrSanmiguel IOT Portal around a simple idea:
one login for you, a separate scoped login for each of your clients, and a real automation engine underneath — ready to use, without you having to build any of it yourself.
What's actually running underneath
No black box. Devices connect over MQTT with mutual TLS — every device has its own signed certificate (very important!), not a shared password. Sensor data lands in InfluxDB and is shown through Grafana. A rules engine evaluates conditions every 3 seconds and fires commands back to devices automatically. It's the same kind of infrastructure you'd need for your IoT devices, but packaged and ready to use. Every part of it is built and run to the highest standards of code quality and security, on modern, actively maintained technology — not something old, outdated, or held together with legacy code.
